House on private road near Lake Tahoe.  Location is at Cedar Flat in Carnelian Bay. Walk across street to miles of wilderness hiking trails on National Forest Service land. Bike or walk 10 minutes (downhill) to private, gated homeowners association beach (small), large pier for sunbathing, swimming and boating, picnic tables and grill. Large, sandy public beaches (including one that is dog friendly) nearby. 

Only 10 minute drive to over 40 restaurants in Tahoe City, Tahoe Vista and Kings Beach.
